Another holiday brings another opportunity to gather those consumer insights that we love so much! July 4th is a holiday known for celebrating America’s independence, and we wanted to know exactly how wINputters were planning to do just that, so TrendSource published a short survey to wINput to get the scoop!
Barbeques? Vacations? Fireworks? We asked about it all, and here’s what we found out:
Where’s the party at?
80% of survey respondents had plans to celebrate the 4th of July this year. Of these party-goers, the top three celebration destinations were:
Hot off the grill!
The vast majority of respondents (72%) had plans to eat BBQ food at some point during the day. Three out of four people were planning to spend time outdoors over indoors.
Stars and stripes galore!
31% of respondents had plans to decorate their home (with the majority of them decorating the outside of their home).
Boom goes the dynamite!
Although 69% of people with pets and 13% of people with children said that their little ones are afraid of fireworks, 87% had fireworks in their plans anyway!
