TrendSource offers an array of unbiased, third-party compliance management Inspections, which help companies ensure they remain on the right side of government regulations. These Inspections cross multiple industries and vary widely, but whatever the Inspection type, TrendSource maintains its commitment to efficiency, accuracy, and excellence.

We understand that with such varied offerings, it can be a bit confusing. What types of Inspections does TrendSource offer? Who needs which types of compliance management Inspections?

This blog will briefly outline the four of the Inspection types we offer. Come back next week, you wonderful compliance nerds, as we outline another set of Inspection types.

OnSite Inspections for Consumer Reporting

This is TrendSource’s bread and butter product, one that we’ve offered for over a decade and that helps businesses ensure their clients are following the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Essentially, anybody who needs to access consumer data—ranging from employment and tenant screenings to lending institution credit checks—must document their compliance with this act. Through physical and virtual OnSite Inspections for Consumer Reporting, TrendSource helps companies ensure that the clients who purchase their consumer reporting data are meeting these guidelines.

I-9 Verification

This one’s easy to explain because almost everybody has had to fill out form I-9 at some point in their life. This form is required to document employment eligibility in the United States and must be completed in-person by somebody who can check and photograph the New Hire’s documents. TrendSource has become the go-to outsourcing solution for companies HR departments who can rapidly verify their New Hires, even when they work remotely, with TrendSource’s Remote I-9 Verification.

Occupancy Verification Inspections

Lending institutions often must verify whether a residence is occupied by the borrower. Sometimes, this is to ensure that the borrower is not squatting after foreclosure, other times it can be to ensure that the actual borrower lives at the residence and is not subleasing it without the institution’s knowledge. Regardless of the reason, Occupancy Verification Inspections give lending institutions visibility into the property, confirming the identity of the resident.

Debt Collector Inspections

Debt Collection Networks exist to connect lending institutions with debt collection agents around the country. These networks vet the agents to help lending institutions find agents who are in compliance with federal guidelines governing debt collection. These Debt Collection Networks require their individual agents to undergo Debt Collection Inspections to document this compliance.

But they are unbiased, they are reliable, and they are always professional. At the end of the day, that’s all you need from compliance management.

Come back next week as we outline another set of Inspections.
